Things God Won’t Do

God won’t:

Fit in your back pocket for you to keep quiet all day.  
Fit in a grave to be buried and never seen again.
Lose.
Die.
Be shut up by a faithless generation.
Be rendered powerless against a stupid virus.
Be overpowered by evil.
Stop coming to the rescue of His people.
Stop shining His light in the darkness.
Stop loving His people to life.
Stop giving hope to the hopeless.
Stop speaking peace to the wind and waves.
Stop speaking.
Stop moving.
Stop healing.
Forget His promises.
Remember our sins that have been forgiven.
Throw past sins in your face.
Put you in a box and leave you alone.
Forget you.
Reject the prodigals.
Reject the faithful.
Reject the homeless.
Reject the lost.
Ever walk away from us.
Quit pouring His Spirit out over us.
Tell you that you aren’t good enough.
Tell you that you aren’t loved.
Tell you that you aren’t worth it.
Ever stop loving us.

God just won’t ever stop.  So, don’t lose hope.  Don’t give up.  Keep believing.  Keep hoping.  Take heart in the one who has overcome and will continue to overcome.
